Honey Garlic Butter Baked Salmon

Ingredients

  • Salmon 4 salmon fillets
  • Butter 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • Garlic 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Honey 2 tbsp honey
  • Dried parsley 1/2 tsp dried parsley
  • Salt 1/4 tsp salt
  • Black pepper 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Paprika A pinch of paprika
  • Lemon Lemon wedges, for serving

Steps

  1. 1

    Preheat the oven to 200°C/400°F and line a baking tray with foil or parchment paper.

    Melt the butter and mix with the minced garlic, honey, dried parsley, salt, black pepper and paprika.

  3. 3

    Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking tray.

  4. 4

    Pour the honey garlic butter mixture evenly over the salmon fillets.

  5. 5

    Arrange lemon wedges on and around the fish.

  6. 6

    Bake for 8 minutes, then open the oven and baste the salmon with the sauce that has pooled on the tray.

    Bake for a further 4-7 minutes until the salmon is cooked through and tender. Serve immediately.
